General Fit Philosophy

Fit Intent: Relaxed yet refined; tailored without restriction

Bust & Hip Fit: Designed to gently skim, not cling

Waistband Fit: Non-elastic (unless stated), meant to sit comfortably at the natural waist

Lengths: Ankle or full-length to maintain modesty and flow

Sleeves: Structured shoulder and full-length sleeves to balance proportion

 

Tailoring Notes by Garment Type

Dresses

Designed to graze the ankles with a gentle column silhouette. Shoulder seams are structured; waists are tailored or relaxed based on design. Side vents/slits are minimal and optional.

Skirt Suits

Fitted high-waist skirts with a modest hemline (hits below the knee). Jackets feature sculpted tailoring with room for blouses or lightweight layers.


Pant Suits

Trousers are high-waisted with structured waistbands and clean, straight-leg cuts. Jackets are designed to offer movement while maintaining shape.

 

Custom Fit & Alterations

Because each Benaya Fahari piece is made with the highest standard of fabric purity and craftsmanship, we encourage professional alterations for a perfect fit if needed. Our garments are constructed to allow for minor tailoring.
